Strong Connections at Traditions At Brookside in McCordsville, Indiana

Traditions at Brookside Community

In a bucolic setting just south of Geist Reservoir, Traditions at Brookside offers seniors a valuable proposition: a home with gracious, even luxurious amenities, restaurant-style dining, and the chance to have a rich social life without having to leave their safe and well-cared-for community.

This is senior living just north of Indianapolis in McCordsville, Indiana, a premier suburban neighborhood known for its quiet setting and proximity to nearby Fishers and Lawrence.

I have a deep connection with this area. I’m lucky to work in my hometown and in a place where our seniors are a valued and cherished part of a vibrant community.

I especially love our Volunteer Program Partnership with Fishers High School, which pairs high school students with our residents for really special, intergenerational experiences. It’s something to see the way these young people listen and learn from their elders and the joy and fun they bring to Brookside. We’re also proud sponsors of OASIS, an organization dedicated to life-long learning for seniors.

Our residents can choose from Independent Living apartments or handsome, freestanding Garden Homes, as well as Assisted Living apartments and Memory Care, all with award-winning, customizable amenities, care and support.

Brookside received the Outstanding Achievement Award from Traditions Management in 2019, has been recognized for Outstanding Retention of Employees, was honored by SeniorAdvisor.com, one of the nation’s largest senior living review sites, and has been nominated for Community of the Year by the Indiana Health Care Association. For the past two years, Brookside has also been a deficiency-free community, which means all services provided in the community meet or exceed state and federal standards.

We’re big believers in the transformation that can happen when residents come to us after being socially isolated. They feel safe in their own homes and have their privacy, but they’re connected to friends, neighbors and staff in the community. They have regular, home-cooked meals, attentive nursing care as needed, activities, exercise and life enrichment programs. Their family members can become sons and daughters again instead of having the strain of worry and caregiving.

We’d love to show you in person. In the meantime, please visit www.traditionsatbrookside.com or call us direct at (317) 335-9900 to find out more or schedule your tour. We hope to see you soon.
