We are excited to honor Ivan Winston as our Resident of the Month!
Ivan has been part of The Traditions at Camargo community in Madeira, Ohio, for the past three years and during that time, he has brought a wonderful mix of humor, wisdom, and kindness to everyone he meets.
Originally from Ralway, New Jersey, and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Ivan’s life has been full of rich experiences and meaningful relationships. He spent his career as a Vice President of Sales, where his leadership, people skills, and drive helped shape his professional legacy.
Ivan and his beloved wife—who had a vibrant career as a bridal director—raised three wonderful children together. Family has always been at the heart of Ivan’s life, and his pride in them shines through in every story he shares.
When looking for a new place to call home, Ivan chose Traditions at Camargo after a tour that left a lasting impression.
“It had that ‘freshly painted’ look,” he says with a smile—an attention to detail that mirrored the comfort and care he felt right away.
A devoted sports fan, Ivan enjoys catching games and staying up-to-date with the latest in scores. Around the community, you’ll most often find him enjoying Bingo, one of his favorite activities, or savoring a delicious plate of French toast—his favorite meal on the menu.
“Ivan brings joy and friendship to those around him, and we are so proud to have him as part of our Traditions family,” said Roxann Tillinghast, Camargo’s Executive Director.
