Traditions Management prioritizes the safety and security of its residents, staff, and guests. Creating and maintaining safe communities is essential for providing a comfortable and worry-free living environment for our residents.

Safety isn’t just a practical necessity—it’s a psychological one. It is one of the most fundamental human needs, ranking just above critical needs like food, water, and shelter. Without a sense of physical security, individuals cannot fully focus on higher-level needs such as social connection, personal growth, or emotional well-being. That’s why our commitment to safety is at the core of everything we do.

Here are some things we do to maintain a safe environment for seniors to thrive.

  • Regularly check, perform, and document routine tests of our security system
  • Periodically check and perform routine tests of doors and locks
  • Change the security codes on doors as needed
  • Limit access to keys to essential employees
  • On-site cameras
  • Communities are staffed 24/7/365
  • Maintain compliance with all local fire and safety codes and regulations.

Residents have an opportunity to weigh in on safety and other concerns during our annual resident survey, but any safety concern can and should be raised immediately to a staff member or the community’s Executive Director.

By creating safe, secure communities, you can be assured that we are doing all we can to keep our residents safe and maintain safe working conditions for our staff.
